Shipping & Return Policy

Shipping Costs

We ship all of our water fountains free of charge within the continental United States.  Alaska, Hawaii and international orders will have additional charges due to their long distance.  Some products do ship without additional charges to Canada.  Please contact us before placing your order to find out if you'll incur an additional shipping charge.

Shipping Times

Most orders are fulfilled and shipped within 24-48 hours of placing your order.  Custom design water fountains may take longer.  If you have any questions on shipping times please feel free to contact us so that we can do our best to meet your specific needs.

What To Do When You Receive Your Fountain

While the carrier is still in your presence, you should inspect your fountain upon receipt.  If you find anything wrong with the fountain, such as shipping damage, do not accept the fountain from the carrier and contact us so that we can send a replacement as soon as possible.  If you accept the fountain and there is damage from shipping you need to contact us within 24 hours or we will not be responsible for shipping damages.

How To Return Your Fountain

If you are not satisfied with the product(s) you purchase from Water Fountains Direct, you can return or exchange the item within 30 days of receipt for a 15% restocking fee less any shipping charges that were incurred. Any returned items must be in new, unused condition and packaged in the original manufacturer's box. All of the products parts, accessories, registration cards, etc must be returned for full credit.

Extra Notice

  • Original shipping is non-refundable, even if you received free shipping.  You will be charged the actual shipping charges that we incurred to ship the product to you.
  • Any Custom Water Fountain, including logos, may not be returned due to their custom nature.
  • We try to offer the best representation of the true color of our slate. With that said, a slight variance in color is not a reason for return. The slate is natural and will have slight variations in color. Images on our site are for display purposes only.
  • If you need to return an item, call us first to receive further instruction.  Do not send fountains to our corporate office as there is no one there to inspect these fountains.

Shipping Damages

We rarely see any damage to the fountains during the shipping phase but in the event that your fountain is damaged upon receipt, contact us within 24-48 hours. 

  1. Larger Fountains shipped via Common Carrier should be opened in front of the driver and inspect all items. Note any damage on the delivery receipt and refuse shipment.  If the driver has departed, you MUST report damage to us within 48 hours (Mon-Fri).  After 48 hours, you will be responsible to file a claim with the carrier. If you cannot open the package in front of the driver, take pictures of the box or packaging before opening it or simply write "Was Not Able To Inspect" where your signature goes.  All damage must be documented or photos taken of packaging to get any type of shipping claim.
  2. Items shipped via UPS, FedEx or USPS: open as soon as possible upon receipt.  Any damage should be reported to us within 24-48 hours.
